Ultrasonic Parts Cleaning Procedure
The procedure of ultrasonic parts cleaning has been summarized in the following steps.
When you are cleaning ultrasonic parts, you can use this as a reference.
- First, pour half level clean water to the ultrasonic parts washer’s inner tank, add a certain amount of cleaning agent, and then add water to the max water level.
- Put your parts in the cleaning basket so that they will not overlap or touch each other, and then put the basket in the cleaning liquid, remember to avoid liquid overflow.
- Set the temperature between 50⁰C to 80⁰C, set the time between 10 to 30 minutes, and then start the device. If there is a custom filtering function, you need to determine whether to enable this function according to the situation.
- After cleaning is completed, take out the cleaning basket and check the cleanliness of the parts (note: the parts that have just been cleaned may be very hot).
- If the cleanliness is satisfactory, dry the parts; otherwise, rearrange them and clean them again in the ultrasonic bath.
- If the workpiece must be free of spots after cleaning, use distilled or deionized water to rinse, remove the residue on the workpiece surface.
- In order to prevent the workpiece from rusting during the cleaning process, a suitable rust inhibitor can be added to the cleaning solution.
