Cling Wrap Cutter Bar
Cling film manufacturers usually attach a cutter blade bar of 100-450mm in length and 8-11mm in width to the packaging box to make it easier for consumers to cut the rolled cling film or aluminum foil.

The cutter blade is made of tinplate or aluminum, and the material thickness is about 0.2mm.

Another type of cutter bar uses a plastic saw blade glued to the cling film or aluminum foil box.

A cutter bar binding machine is a device that punches tinplate or aluminum coils into saw blade bars and fixes the saw blade bars to the blanks of plastic wrap or aluminum foil roll packaging boxes.

Plastic Blade Automatic
An automatic PVC plastic cutter blade binding machine can apply adhesive to blades and then glue them to cling film & aluminum foil boxes.

As you can see in the above photo, there is a blue hot-melt glue applicator, which applies the hot-melt adhesive to the PVC plastic cutter bar through a nozzle.

Actually, both aluminum & plastic cutter bars can be fixed on the cling film box by applying hot-melt glue on them.

That means you can fix two types of cutter bars to your aluminum foil box on one machine.
More importantly, the cutter bar adhered with hot melt adhesive can be more firmly fixed to the plastic wrap box.

Tinplate/Aluminum Blade Semi-automatic
To operate a semi-automatic saw blade binding machine, the operator must place the plastic wrap box blanks one by one under the punch head, waiting for the punch binding head to cut the tinplate/aluminum sheet into a bar shape.
Then, the operator fixes the box blanks to the cut sheet repeatedly.

Operation
- Load the tinplate/aluminum coil into the unwinder;
- Feed the coil into the saw blade punching and binding die;
- Set the coil feeding length on the touch screen;
- Adjust the box blank placement position and fix it;
- Manually place the box blank into the fixed position and press the foot pedal switch to bind the blade to the box blank;
- After binding, take out the box blank and put in another new box blank.
